Full load haulage — your trailer, your run.
A whole truck dedicated to a single consignment, single customer, single drop. From a 7.5 t rigid up to a 44 t articulated trailer.
Full Truck Load — FTL — means the trailer is yours from collection to delivery. No co-loads, no transfer hubs, no detours to drop someone else's freight on the way. For time-sensitive runs, high-value or fragile loads, or movements where you don't want your goods sitting in a sorting hub overnight, FTL is the right call. Capital Logistics provides dedicated FTL haulage in every vehicle size from a 7.5 t rigid up to a 44 t 6×2 articulated trailer.
When FTL beats part-load
If you've got more than ~12 pallets, the maths usually tips in favour of FTL on a per-pallet basis. But the better reason is operational: a dedicated trailer doesn't transit through a sorting depot, doesn't get mis-tagged, doesn't get rolled to the next day because something else couldn't fit. Single collection, single drop, single accountability. For pharma, electronics, retail-launch stock or any consignment where late-delivery damage exceeds the freight cost, FTL pays for itself.
Routes we run on FTL
Capital handles full-load runs daily across the 32 counties from our Dublin depot, into the UK via Dublin Port and Belfast, and onwards into continental Europe through our partner network. Customs documentation, T1 transit and CMRs are handled by our in-house team before the wheels turn — so a Friday-evening collection in Tallaght can clear the UK border by Monday morning.
